What we collect
When you install Model Studio on your Shopify store, we collect:
- Shop information: your shop domain and the shop owner's email address (provided by Shopify during installation).
- Product data: product titles, images, and metadata for products you choose to generate AI model photography for.
- Generated content: AI-generated images created through the app, stored so you can review, download, and push them to your products.
- Reference images: model/character reference photos you upload for Character Lock consistency.
We do not collect your customers' personal data. We do not track shoppers on your storefront.
How we use it
- To generate AI model photography for your products.
- To maintain your character roster and brand settings.
- To communicate about your account (e.g., credit balance notices).
Product images are sent to our AI generation providers (fal.ai, OpenAI, Google) solely to produce the images you request. We do not sell your data.
Data retention & deletion
If you uninstall the app, your access token is immediately revoked. Within 48 hours of uninstallation, we permanently delete all of your shop's data — including product data, generated images, character references, and settings — in compliance with Shopify's GDPR webhooks.
